I played it for 6 hours already. Got 10k population, they definitely need to add more live events in this game. I find it boring just to follow ambulances and a stray dog entering different buses all the time.
Something like, different weather, day - night time, different seasons winter = lots of snow, road accidents, forest fire, more wildlife, disasters, flood, volcano and etc.. I just want a citybuilding game like Simcity 4 with better graphics and more features :[

So, I started a city in hard mode plus without going all boxy because I wanted something that looks at least slightly realistic. I expected to expand (populationwise) much faster, so now I am stuck with this and cannot really expand without risking a huge clusterfuck.

This sounds like dwarf fortress:

- different weather [check]
- day/night time (you can't see it, but its there, trust me) [check]
- different seasons [check]
- road accidents (goblins killing the caravan also counts?) [check]
- forest fire [check]
- more wildlife [check]
- disasters (beast with necrotic poison, which rots away the feet of your dwarfs) [check]
- volcano [!!mega check!!] (double !! marks something on fire)
- everything else [check]

But your computer will probably die @ 200 dwarfs population. >:D

Give it time, they are like 13 developers total :P

And i heard they already sold more copies than SimCity 2013. EA should be ashamed.

500k copies sold so far, Paradox people when asked about piracy said that the secret to deal with it is to make the paid game more interesting for players, which is one of the reasons they added Steam Workshop support since the start.

Paradox and Colossal Order are now working in a patch for the game to address some technical issues including black screen on start-up, greyed out load and start game button, save issues, and poor performance on high-end linux PCs.

Game mechanics are also being closely looked at including traffic/AI issues, Cims getting to their jobs, and commercial demand. These are all aspects of the game where there may be small issues which have been highlighted by players but not all may actually be problems. Paradox say they will not blindly “do everything people ask for.”

As a priority the above mentioned technical issues will be fixed then other potential game issues will be addressed. A date has not yet been set for the patch release but because the game launched in a solid state, it should not be too long before they release their “first major content update”.

And this would be for kirEx :D

meh, no demo for cities skylines. My old pc can handle the minimum requirements easily but not the recommended. Guess without a demo it's a no buy then if i don't know how big the impact will be on my gaming experience.
And no, i won't yar-har it, just sayin.
