Nah, I don't want it that much. ;) I thought it could be funny to give it a go after the WoT campaign. But since I still have about a dozen games from Steam sales laying around it has no priority.

I'll try some rounds on the test server later if someone wants to join me, i joined it minutes ago, was n° 900 in the queue and took me 30 mins or so to get in. Now i am going to eat and i'll keep the game open

edit: some cool new effects i saw. Like big guns firing and making some small waves on the surface of the water.

Also for Koll, did the minekaze had 14k torps? or is it a buff? >:D
Now skills wise you can get the 6th sense with a single point right from the start

It's a good way for other people in IDEAl to try it, especially since it will also have the unified account as well already :O

Module upgrade and Ship research experience and credit costs have been increased. Module upgrades by about 3 times and research costs have roughly doubled across the board.
a few examples:
Kagerou: full upgrades: 37500 -> 106000 ship research: 71000 -> 154000
Baltimore: full upgrades: 28500 -> 92000 ship research: 81000 -> 165000
Izumo: full upgrades: 43500 -> 143000 ship research: 86000 -> 198000

buying the top hull upgrade on the Izumo will cost 3.000.000 credits.

Kagero to Shimakaze:
Kagero module research XP cost: 116k - Price: 7,9 Million.
Shimakaze reseach XP Cost: 223k - Price: 19,3 million.
Total cost: 339k XP and 27,2 Million

D: :omg:

I hope they compensate it with a higher income, but in WoT dimensions its ridiculous.

well, the economy has never been like the one on WoT, you earn more experience and more money. But sure, you can bet the grind will be similar. And we don't really want yamatos everywhere like before in the end.

Middle tiers will be, as usual, the most enjoyable.

WoWs should be in Open Beta now: http://worldofwarships.eu/

You’ve probably noticed we have enabled public registrations for World of Warships. To prevent misinterpretation by our community, we’d like to set a few things straight.
Please see the short FAQ below!

I can now download and play the game. Is this a mistake?
No, it is a planned capacity test, congrats to getting in! If we reach our planned capacity for this test, we will disable registrations again.

So is this Open Beta already? Why there was no announcement?
There was no announcement because we’re not in OBT yet, but as you can guess it’s getting closer and closer. Stay tuned and keep an eye on our web resources!

If I buy Doubloon/Premium ship packages in the Premium shop, will I be able to keep them?
Yes, the Premium shop goods you buy from this moment on will carry over to the OBT when it starts, as well as later through the game’s official release.

What about the regular ships? Will there be any more wipes?
No, the latest wipe during the deployment of update 0.4.0 was the last one we had planned, so whatever progress you get now you shall keep.

Can I stream / make videos / post on Forums about the game and its contents?
Yes, the game is not under NDA anymore. If you got in, feel free to enjoy and discuss!

Hope that answers the most burning questions and puts everyone at ease!

Action Stations! :honoring:

GL with that.

btw here is a funny (already closed :( ) thread from a CV player, who like to oneshot BBs/CAs, about how unfair it is that CVs can oneshot each other without much protection:

I had to giggle while reading

Downloading. Any lines you recommend? Like the WOWS equivalent to the russian med line? Something like the WOWS mediums.

W O W = World of warships, but the forums make it WOW :Oo:

Allrounder are Cruisers in WoWs.
The first really decent ones are USN T3 and T6 (St Louis and Cleveland) and the IJN T4 Kuma. I like the later IJN cruisers, because they look better and have torps, but iIMHO they are inferior to the USN ones.

In general: USN cruiser have better AA and can take more and the IJNs have torps but huge citadels (citadel hit cause max dmg) but are harder to hit.
