Hey Guys
having a problem. After a few matches today my pc got grey stripes from the top to the bottom. After cleaning my pc, I get now only a black screen and guess my vram died. But I want a second opinion from someone who has more clue about this stuff and could recommend me a new one.

you can bake it at 95 °C without the vents for 20-25mins if its the vram, help sometimes.
you know that your gpu is broken if you can boot on igpu mode.

Okay Guys since I have no heat transfer paste, I can't bake my card. After asking my sister, it's most likely that my card is dead. I will try to clean the Slot later and some stuff, but thats not my point.
Now I ask myself if I should sell my current PC and buy a new one.
Asus Formula IV
AMD Phenom X6 1100T
8GB RAM from KingstonHyperX
1TB harddrive
HIS 7770 HD with 1GB gRam
beQuiet 700Watt

you could keep the psu, ram and hdd but amd cpus/gpus are just rip
btw you could try baking it at 85°C with vents, you cant lose anything tho thermal paste cost sth like 1 euro .... and you get that at "media markt"

if you wanna sell the case then you can also sell it completely for the case you got an alternative gpu ... otherwise it doesnt make much sense, i think selling mobo setups is partly better or you sell it all in parts

Intel Core i5-6600 ~ 230 €
GTX 970 is fine or R9 390 (X)

Yeah, searching around can safe you serious money, even if you are affraid to buy used stuff.
I got lucky for example buying my 4790k on ebay. It was new and I got it for 290 Euro - 10 Euro voucher from ebay, so 280. If you buy it on normal sites you have to pay 340-350€. so yeah. Not trying to say you should buy everything on ebay cause it could take forever to get all the pieces you want. But look around, it safed me 60€ on the cpu only.
As for the recommendations:
i5 from the recent or last 2 generations (i5 3xxx- 5xxx)
For the GPU: The gap between nVidia and AMD is not that big compared to intel vs AMD. In fact in the middle-price segment they are quite comparable. If you go for Nvidia the TI-models often have the better power/money ratio compared to the "normal model".
As soon as you decide for a model, take your time to compare the versions of the different companies (MSI, Gigabyte, etc). There are quite a few websites which make it easy to compare, just make sure that you check different websites, since they are biased sometimes.

AMD has problems with GPU drivers, and diffrence betweeen 4th and 5th gen intels is mostly in power consumption.

I can sell you my old GTX 660 if you want. Good enough to run WoT on full everything with >60 fps.
50 bucks sound fair?
