That ending would have sucked major donkey balls tbh.

Does that ending seem like some alternative ending for Harry Potter. Voldemort gets into Harry's head. Is supposedly destroyed and turns Harry.

I'll just wait if GRRRRRRRRRRRRR Martin gets the story done some day.

Sometimes I think some people here want more death and blood in the series just for the heck of it. Sure, GoT was always "more edgy" than most shows and the beginning of the text makes more sense than some stuff the fucktard writers did. But wtf would that ending do for a closure of the series?
Or what comes after? 20 seasons of The Walking Dead: Game of Thrones Chronicles? I think they already stretched the zombie-theme to its limits and then some.

I don't know why so many people seem to put the night king theme in the center of the story either. Maybe it was like that in the books, but in the show the human politics around the throne were always the center of the storyline.
Also this whole Danny got turned mad by the night king shit? She went mental on her own over quite an expanded period of time, why would you need more explanation or build up for that?

No, just no! I won't even bother to explain why, there are dozens of reviews on the internet that do that.
And i would have prefered that ending to the actual one, just because it would have made more sense!

Finally watched the last episodes...
Dunno why people are so upset, it is a decent ending probably not the one GRRM would have wrote but he is a slow af writer and i dont wanna wait 20years more
I think they did quite a bit of what happens after so i really dont want to see more epiloge and the characters ageing, kids etc. @Mokke
Also i dont feel like the end was rushed but i guess expectations were super high and people a disappointed with any ending to the series they watched for 10years(i dunno)?
