Since I'm not much of a techy guy I need some assistance from any respectable PC nerds out there... :)

My brother has recommended these but I wanted some second opinions

This one, i would say this one as it is quite compact and doesn't scream "I GAME FOR A LIVING" in public.

Yes, I recommend you to look around a bit more. The razer ones are really good, maybe you can find a better offer there.
Because each of the ones you linked, have downsides:
1) Weak CPU, no SSD
2) Weak CPU, weak GPU
3) Weak GPU
==> but if you want to stick with the above ones, take no. 3 (the MSI one).

Interdasting, seems like it took notebooks ~4 years to get to the level of my desktop in terms of performance while still costing 20% more than what the desktop cost back then.

(yes, im not a fan of faptops and wouldnt buy one for anything more than random office werk)

Can agree, I am hard for the Razer Blades for years now, they just dont make sense for me since I am not that mobile that I would need that. Plus my PC is too solid for me to consider buying new gear :feelsbad:
Razer Blades are kind of unique with their combination of size and really good quality and materials, still having all the power you need for casual gaming.

The question is are you really going to take this laptop with you weekly/daily or is it this I want to take my laptop with me once every full vacation of weeks. In that case just do not bother and get a desktop PC and you will have something killer good for 6 years for like 1000-1200 pounds

I would get a desktop pc but I have the smallest room in the house so I have no where I can put a rig. That's where the compact size of a laptop wins

Its does look sick but I want A 17 inch...not that I'm over compensating for anything Kappa

I might compromise on a smaller screen size for better quality though

All jokes aside, I would totally buy a MB Air for $999 for daily low performance usage. Apple isn't all crap. :P
