i am also a huge blizzard fan and was sorf of succesful in dota and lol but hots lacks some balancing tho this was one of the biggest strength of blizzard games so far. lets hope the community wont end up like in lol.

played 50~ games and now i'm back to dota, it's just too simple and lacks the most interesting aspects of other mobas like cs, items, xp, mana pool etc.

same thing as with lol, just spam your shit cause u'll almost never go oom and hope that the other team has the braindead guy that never participates in teamfights/objectives. i'd like to try hero league with banning and picking, but cba to play until lvl 30 cause it's really lame the way it is right now (mm is somewhat funny sometimes with 4 squishy dd's and a specialist vs 3 tanks + 1 support + 1 dd)
I'll probably give it a try again in a few months, but for now it's just boring.


edit: regarding keys, everyone who uses paypal should have gotten a few keys 2 weeks back or so, i think i got 4 or 5 keys via paypal

I kinda like it too, also the fact i see more than 1 map is nice too.

true, if you're totally new there's almost nothing that can overload your brain by too many input ^^
but when you're used to manage a lot of things at the same time and have to think about counterbuilds/skills/items etc, this game is kinda subchallenging

So how long, do you reckon, it's going to take to master those?
For me it seems that's at least a couple of hundred games, if I get bored by it I simply won't play it anymore but for the time being I don't even now the abilities of half the characters and I suck dearly because of that.

One thing that I'm not so sure I like so much is that there's really no "I" in Heroes. It could a bane or a blessing, too early to tell.
