Last shooter I played multiplayer with for more than a few games was BF2

At least from my perspective the first 1-2 hours were the hardest ones. My buddy (Silver 2) wanted me to start outright with competitive, not bothering much about casual or anything else.
First Match was terrible, i got yelled at me for my stupidity and such (and i can perfectly understand that, who likes noobs/newbies in the first place if they suck as expected).

Until now i only played around 7-8 hours, almost competitive exclusively and my performance got better and better fairly quickly. Now i've come to the point where my buddy and i are in the end mostly only a few points away from eachother (not saying he's extremely good or something) and i am ok with my performance right now although there is still plenty of space to improve on (grenades that don't hurt mates but actually enemies :paris_hilton:

and so on ).

And i'd say it is a hell of a lot of fun to play and communicate with eachother in skype/ts if it actually works out the way you wanted it to do.

Just 2cents from a Newbie's perspective.
