I am opening a new topic just where we can comment and discuss about all kind of ingame tanks.

For first, I need to blow up somewhere and free my nightmares about the AMX CDC frustrations
I am playing it mostly when I play alone, grinding creds and was thinking to "have fun" with it...BUT...
if someone told me that I will be hardly to 50% of winrate on this tank I would never take it! Don't know why
but this tanks seems like cursed for me

My stats on it are not something to be impressed at all, but I was thinking that it will be easier than playing with
FCM where I took 3MoE easily:

mostly solo for me too, no samplesize and was probably a good streak. the cdc is not too shabby, if it was only able to snapshot like the fcm tho dispersion is horrible

Recently in the developer answers it was said IS6 is soon to be HD, as known they not only fix the looks of the tanks but also fix the armor models, so that reminded me about how god damn awry is the IS6 frontal plate (I like to have a look at the models from time to time)

So what is the thing? The thing is how "great" it is that WG was so shit at making armor models because the IS6 ufp has crazy jumps in armor angles (at spots almost auto bounce), explaining why you may get the craziest non penetrations.

So here is the picture with angles and effective, and effective against AP armor values. Of course at close combat angles differ but imagine that you are shooting at an IS6 at some 250m distance while you both are on a field.

Well here they have no choice as the upper plate is broken as shit. My guess is they will make the whole plate 64° as most of the upper part is at that angle and up there aren't any parts that could brake it, or you may be right and they make the whole upper plate more than 64° , but it still will not be 69°.

The thing about T110E5 is there are not any real schematics, it has only pictures and in reality it even looks different in the pictures, also if I remember correctly it is even overbufed from the written down values (at least I can surely tell you that T110E3 armor is seriously overbuffed).

There are several details, but most importantly the hull front should not be round but strictly upper plate and lower plate and the mg cupola should be like on E4 and E3

Basically what I mean to say is T110E5 has no strict data that would tell the armor values, while IS6 I am prety sure should have more data on it.

P.S. I did search just a bit and I am not sure if I can trust the source but it was written that the upper plate is 65° . The rest of the places did not say anything about angle. But I am sure WG has access to archives

lemme guess, you dont even have 3moe's on it.
Overall I don't dislike it, Gun can be good can be shit. DPM is great and depression too.
Just that you get ammoracked a lot, and driver seems to be dead 50% of the games

the mantlet is weak compared to the sloped rest, especially if you use all your gundepression. thats why most pens happen there (or at the cupola) and killing your gun.

My thoughts on the Centurion Action X

After playing the AX on the testserver (keep this in mind, because you know, all those people going full retard mode on testserver, spamming gold etc...) I want to share my current thoughts on it:

I'll start with the gun:
The gun felt pretty decent. The dpm is not bad (7.42s reload with rammer but no BiA or food), it has 268 pen with APCR and the standard 330 pen HEAT and good accuracy (0.32). The aim time is also ok (2.1s) and I did some good shots on the move

Armor:
The armor is mediocre: The hull didn't bounce anything. The turret however can be bouncy, especially if you use the 10 degrees of gun depression. Nevertheless I wouldn't rely on it.
I can't say anything about sidescraping though, as I haven't done that so far.

Mobility:
The AX is definitly one of the slower mediums, but due to its quite good power-to-weight ratio (~19) it reaches the top speed of 53 pretty easily, climbing hills is not too bad in this tank and the soft stats don't seem to fuck it up. Turning the tank felt quite sluggish though. I'd say the mobilty is ok. (I think it's at least faster than the FV4202, isn't it?)

Things that bothered me were first the ammorack, wich was damaged quite often and secondly I had the impression that the tank is quite big, whereat the lenght bothered me more than the height.

All in all the AX performed pretty good and was fun in the few games I played in it - I might actually research it on the live server. Since I have never played the FV4202 I cannot compare it to the AX and tell if it's a good replacement, but looking at the AX alone I'd say it's a good, competitive tank

I know this is not the most detailed review ever, but I just felt like sharing my thoughts
