New World is currently in a free 14 day testing period. Game seems really cool with dynamic combat and even the 0815 fetch quests are well written so far. also appealing that you dont have to decide for a class but get better with a weapon the more you use it, like in Skyrim. Add an immersive, darker story, convincing systems for trade, factions and housing and you got a nice game on your hand, at least as far as I can tell after like 3-4 hours of playing.
Would like to group up with someone, if anyone else is interested

Just finished my playthrough of Mafia - Definitive Edition.

It was a really good journey. Mafia 3 was my first of the series, so I liked the idea to getting "back to the roots". And what you get are stunning visuals(which would have been a lot better if I wouldnt still rely on my aging GTX 970), an immersive story, a nice variety of different missions, some minor plot twists and a nice feeling for the time. Can fully recommend picking it up.

Minor drawbacks:
-I played through the mainstory without getting sidetracked once. The bane of a good narrative is often that one doesnt bother with anything else. Thus I was done after roughly 10 hours
-The aiming during the gunfights could be a bit snappier

If anyone is contemplating getting Assassins Creed: Valhalla, I can recommend. Played the first 3 hours, which only included like 1 hour of story, so I can already tell that the game manages to lead me from the straight path(to put into perspective, I played through Skyrim almost doing no sidequests ) The story is captivating so far, it feels like there is no "downtime", all of it is engaging and believable.
The combat is nice and fluid, not like previous titles (though i didnt play the parts in rome and egypt), OP elements in the past are not OP anymore, it all seems rather balanced.
The game is also stunningly beautiful, though i gotta play it on low-medium to get close to 60fps with my old 970
