ok, so I watched some exclusive jp gameplays, and the quest system is not grindy at all. If you mean grindy as in repeatedly killing monsters without a quest purpose, but purely for xp gain, then it's not like that.

89hrs for my first walkthrough and without even achieving 100%. The witcher 3 succesfully claimed my soul since i want to make another run on higher diffculty. Thinking that there will be a huge content upgrade with the dlc... RIP life.
