Today was the best Pokemon day yet for me. It started when I went to the city centre to buy myself a powerpack, only to find out that 90% of them had been sold out, like wtf. Luckely there were still some 5200 mAh ones left for only 20 Euro, fair deal. Then when I opened the app I saw this; pokestop heaven



After the movie I went back to this one site that had 3 pokestops close together and I ended up in nerd paradise, thesr was a group of around 30 people there. Just a bunch of gamers chilling there with lures active non-stop, catching pokemon, having fun. One of them had the api-website open to see if there were any rare pokemon nearby, and thats when the app showed a Gyrados nearby. It was a proper stampede with people running to catch it, glorius!



I cought it too but it was only a 267 cp (even though I am lvl 20). The highest cp Gyrados that was caught with that group was 1600+, even in this game rng is against me...

i installed for the hype, would need about 5min to farm 9 pokestops and 2 gyms from home (i live next to a park in the middle of nowhere) and 7 pokestops close by work which can be all farmed within 3min and yet i am lvl 3 after a week cause when i was about to farm one circle i realised how much creeps are doing that and they tend to speak to you, i chosed to gtfo ever since cause the creep level was above "truln" instantly

So Niantic asked 3rd party sites and apps to shut down, and Pokevision did so. The love is real on the forums and reddit.

That said, Niantic definitely did fuck up. The main game element (tracking and finding Pokémon) has been broken longer than it has worked and their "solution" was to remove it. I don't know what they've been smoking to even consider that.

No steps and no pokevision. This has not been a great day for pokemon go.

With Pokevision shut down and no 'nearby' feature working, this game is just pointless. I was having fun tracking pokémons, taking my bike to get to them. Niantic killed all the fun.

You don't invent Marco Polo, get 80M players to join, then remove the Polo part and expect people to keep playing.

I just entered lvl 27, now it takes like 250k xp to next lvl. At least I can farm star dust now.
