old coins

Postby Conor_Notorious_McGregor » 21 May 2017 21:45

Anyone here have any old coins they might want to sell?

In particular
reichsmarks
reichspfennigs
especially silver coinage

or indeed any other coins of any date or interest from byzantium to present day.

if so PM me with some info. Will pay market value for some and above market value for particular coins. Let me know what you have. I will also consider buying bulk collections.

Not coins, but I got a few bank notes from the Weimar Republic Hyperinflation somewhere. 50 Trillion Mark bank notes and fun stuff like that.

Mr Fish if you can post images that would be very good depending on how many you have obviously. especially the serial numbers on the notes. Some are collectable.

Mr Omen
the 20 franc 1952 coin has a little value ( £1-£2+) however I have some myself. if you come across the same coin or the 50 franc coin with 1950.1954 or perhaps 1958 then let me know.

The Danish 5 ORE and the 1 ORE with milling hole what is the date on those please. ???? also what is the date on the washington quarter dollar>? thanks :)

Nothing stands out all too modern I think.

Danish 1 ORE with hole - 1940, wow nice
The last of the Bronze because wartime copper was in short supply but I have multiple of these. I did check the mint marks etc but there are no special runs of these coins

Quarter dollars - 1980, 1966, 1973, 1983 and one weird one with dates 1776-1976

The 1776-1976 is a Bicentennial coin with the latter date being the 200th anniversary of the declaration of independence. Not valuable or useful to me but interesting all the same. as for the rest of the US quarters 1965 was the last year of silver production so any later than that and they are whats called junk.

sorry it took so long to get back to you. I needed info that was not in my books and I like to make sure. All in all nothing of use to me or value to you other than for your own reasons. Nice to keep though all the same.

Mr Fish good sir I have posted a question to an expert and expect a reply within the next few days. Notes are not my area of understanding.
