I am underweight though (below the normal weight for my height)... fat doesn't stick on me whatever I do, eat, drink etc.

I doubt that. If you have never worked out, and if you are 16-18, you will gain muscles pretty fast in the 1st 1-2-3 months, after that it will become way harder for him to actually get muscles.

Significant amount of the weight is already due to more food in the intestines (due to higher appetite and required energy intake) compared to the initial weighing, then more weight comes from better hydration of the body, then more weight comes from stored fat, and then some weight will be due to muscle growth.
I need to mention personal bias, too. May it be rounding up or wrong recalling of weighing results, or conscious padding of the values for an ego boost in front of others, etc.
Building more than 2kg muscle mass/month is quite inhuman, if I recall correctly what Troolen said.
We need Oolen's expertise here, though.
